(Wild Ramps from the Michigan Woods)
This week on Fork in the Road with Eric Villegas Chef Eric features a culinary delight! The first wild food plants in the spring are Ramps (wild leeks) that grow in woodlands across the state. Chef Eric visits a mid-Michigan woodlot to harvest this delicious Michigan woodland food. We then go to the kitchen to prepare a Ramp Quiche, a recipe to delight the fussiest of palates.
