This week we make a wonderful dish that includes, that wonderful delicacy, morel mushrooms. "Midwestern Risotto" of carnaroli and minnesota wild rice, morel mushrooms and white truffle oil … Then we visit the R. Hirt Cheese Company in Detroit and go north to hunt for morel mushrooms with "Spore Boy" (no kidding that's what he calls himself) Later we visit the Morel Mushroom Festival in Boyne City and participate in the festivities.
