Our first show features a classic pasta dish with ingredients from the Great Lakes Region; Strozzapreti Pasta with Morel Mushrooms and Fresh Asparagus. Not only do we cook with fresh asparagus but wait 'til you see me on the picker gathering those great spears for my recipe. I'll also show you a great way to roast garlic and make a roasted garlic puree. I use it alot in our recipes so we'll be repeating it later in the series. We also visit the Farmer's Market in Meridian Township (Just East of Lansing and East Lansing, Michigan. It's a great show we hope you enjoy it.
